Cayenne

You will be surprise that Cayenne is one of the oldest cultivated plants on earth. It is widely used in South and Central American as medicine and spices.

It has been used to treat acute colds, catarrh and sore and as a stimulant to improve the circulatory system. Other uses include the removal of toxin, cold and congested tissues.

It is a traditional home remedy for colds, earache and tonsillitis in Mexico. And in some parts of Chile, the infusion is taken internally to reduce the symptoms of headache.

Besides using this herb as a remedy, it is useful to add into food to promote sinus drainage.

Please note that cayenne may interact with ACE (angiotensin-converting enzyme) inhibitors. These are a group of drugs use for treating hypertension or high blood pressure.

The above herbs for sinus may work for some. Some individual may find short term relief whereas others may need to take it for a period of time.
